Catherine's father was Simon* (Sir) Digby and her mother was Alice* De Walleys. Her paternal grandparents were Everard* Digby and Jaquetta* Ellys; her maternal grandparents were John* Walleys and UNKNOWN ??. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Reginald, Thomas, William, Agnes*, Alice and Grace.
