William Cooper

William was born about 1811.¹ William's father was Bethel Cooper and his mother was Sarah Fox. His paternal grandparents were William Cooper and Ann Lane. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Nelson, Polly and Jane. He was the second oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother named Samuel.
