John CHAPIN

John was born in 1623 in Paignton, Devonshire, England.¹ John's father was Thomas CHAPIN and his mother was Bridgett HANNAFORD. His paternal grandparents were JOHN CHAPIN and PHILLIPE (Philippa) EASTON. He had three brothers and a sister, named Phillip, Samuel, Thomas and Margaret. He was the second oldest of the five children.
