Henry CHAPIN

Henry was born in Berry, Pomeroy, Devonshire, England.¹ Henry's father was SAMUEL (Deacon) CHAPIN and his mother was CICELY PENNEY. His paternal grandparents were JOHN CHAPIN and PHILLIPE (Philippa) EASTON; his maternal grandparents were HENRY PENNEY and JANE (Joane) DABINOTT. He had six brothers and four sisters, named JOSIAH, Japhet, John, Samuel, David, Henry, Sarah, Catherine, Honor and Hannah. He died on August 15th, 1718 in Springfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts. He was buried in Chicopee Cemetery, Springfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts.¹¹
