Charles 3rd Duke de Suffolk's father was Charles Duke de Suffolk BRANDON and his mother was Katherine WILLOUGHBY.  His paternal grandparents were William (Sir) BRANDON and Elizabeth BRUYN; his maternal grandparents were William Lord de Eresby de WILLOUGHBY and Mary de SALINAS. He had a brother named Henry 2nd Duke de Suffolk. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Henry Earl de Lincoln, Anne, Mary, Frances and Eleanor.
