Aaron was born in 1867.¹ Aaron's father was Abel G. Arnold and his mother was Mary J. ??. His paternal grandparents were Abel Douglas Arnold and Mary Jane Harrington. He had two brothers and five sisters, named James Frederick, Irvin, Isadora, Anne E., Frances E., Evelyn and Elizabeth A.. He was the second oldest of the eight children.
