Constance was born about 0895. Constance's father was Charles Constantine Comte de Vienne and her mother was Teutberge de Troyes. Her paternal grandparents were Louis III Beronides "the Blind" Holy Roman Emperor and Anna of Byzantium; her maternal grandparents were Garnier (or Warinus) Comte de Troyes and Teutberga de Arles.
