Constance was born about 0986 in of, Toulouse, France.  Constance's father was Guillaume I Taillefer Comte de Provence and her mother was Countess Adelaide (or Blanche) D'Anjou Countess.  Her paternal grandmother was Constance de Vienne; her maternal grandparents were Foulques II "le Bon" Comte D'Anjou and Gerberge of the Gatinais. She had a brother and two sisters, named Guillaume II, Toda and Gerberga Of.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Bertrand II, William III Taillefer, Philippa and Alice.  She died on July 25th, 1032 in Melun, France.  She was buried in St. Denis Abbey, France.
