John de Mortimer 
John was born about 1235. John's father was Ralph de Mortimer Baron Wigmore and his mother was Gwladus Ddu "the Dark verch Llywelyn Fawr. He had three brothers named Roger de Mortimer, Hugh and Peter. He was the second youngest of the four children.
