Simon de Montfort 
Simon was born in 1025 in Montfort, Eure, France. Simon's father was Amauri de Montfort Seigneur de Montfort-l'Amauri and his mother was Bertrade De Gometz. His paternal grandfather was William De Hainault; his maternal grandfather was William I De Gometz Seigneur De Bures. He was an only child. He died at the age of 62 in 1087 in St. Thomas, France.
