Gilbert de Lancaster , Baron of Kendal

Gilbert was born about 1085 in Kendal, Westmoreland, England.  Gilbert's father was Ketel Chetell.  His paternal grandparents were Eldred Ethelred , Lord of Workington and Adgitha. He had a brother named Orm.  He was the older of the two children.  Gilbert is no longer alive.

They had a son named William I.
