Herfast's father was Konge Enske Gorm de Gammel pa Denmark and his mother was Thyri [Thyra] Klacksdottir pa Jutland. His paternal grandparents were King Frotho VI of Denmark and UNNAMED; his maternal grandfather was Konge Klack-Harald [Schleswig] pa Jutland. He had a brother named Harald Parcus "Bluetooth".
