Richard Tonebridge FitzGilbert I Earl de Clare

Richard Tonebridge FitzGilbert I Earl was born in 1035 in Beinfaite, Normandy, France.  Richard Tonebridge FitzGilbert I Earl's father was Gilbert Crispin I Count of Brionne and his mother was Gunnora D'Anjou.  His paternal grandfather was Godfrey Count of Brionne & Eu; his maternal grandfather was UNKNOWN Fulk. He had two brothers and a sister, named Baldwin FitzGilbert, Gilbert and Elsie Hesilia.  He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Baldwin Fitz-Gilbert of.  He died at the age of 55 in 1090 in Essex, England.

They had two sons and a daughter, named Richard Fitz Richard de Clare Abbot of, Gilbert FitzRichard II Earl and Ronais FitzGilbert.
