Nichola de Albini

Nichola was born in 1206 in of Barrow on Soar, Leicester.  Nichola's father was William de Albini V Earl of Arundel and her mother was Matilda (Mabel) le Meschines of Chester. She had three brothers and four sisters, named William de Albini, William de Albini, Hugh de Albini, Cicely, Mabel, Isabel and Matilda. She had nine half-brothers and four half-sisters, named William de Albini, Nicholas, Odinel, Robert, John le Scot of Chester, David, Henry, Robert, Henry le Scot de Brechin, Isobella, Ada, Margaret and Maud.  She died at the age of 34 in 1240 in Dudley Castle, Staffordshire.

‌Nichola and Sir Roger de Somery II were married in a religious ceremony about 1225 in Barrow, Leicestershire.
