Ethelred I King Of was born about 0844 in Wantage, Berkshire, England.  Ethelred I King Of's father was [King] Ethelwulf King Of Wessex England [King] and his mother was [Queen] Osburgh Wessex [Queen]. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Ethelbald King Of, Athelstan, Alfred I "The Great" King Of, Ethelswith Of and Judith Of.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died in April 0871.

They had a daughter named Elfgifu Princess Of.
