William de Welle 
William de was born about 1257 in Well, Spilsby, Lincolnshire, England. William de's father was Robert de Welle , Escheator of Lindsey and his mother was Isabel de Periton. His paternal grandparents were William de Welle and Emma de Grainsby; his maternal grandparents were Adam de Periton and Sarah. He had two brothers named Philip de and Adam 1st Baron de. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died on April 21st, 1288 in (dsp).General Notes
WILLIAM DE WELLE, brother and heir, paid 40 marks for respite from knighthood in 1279, was in possession of his lands by March 1280/1 and answered the Quo Warranto enquiries in that year. He was granted a weekly market at Alford, Lincs, 10 October 1283, and nominated attorneys going overseas with Hugh le Despenser, 27 May 1286. He married Helewise. He died s.p. 21 April 1288.
