Ela (Adela) de was born about 1170 in Lewes, Sussex, England. Ela (Adela) de's father was Hamelin Plantagenet , 5th Earl of Surrey and her mother was Isabel de Warenne , Heiress of Surrey. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William de, Geoffrey, Maud Plantagenet de and Suzanne Plantagenet de. She was the youngest of the five children. She died about 1220.General Notes
