Von Metz's father was King Of Provence Budwine (Bouin) Graf Von Metz King Of Provence and her mother was Richilde de Arles.  Her paternal grandfather was Richard Comte D'Amiens; her maternal grandfather was Count of Turin Boso III "the Old" of Turin Count of Turin. She had two brothers named Boso and Richard "the Justiciar" Comte.
