Robert De was born about 1018 in Of, Cotentin Peninsl, Normandy, France.  Robert De's father was Humphrey De Humphrey De Pontaudemer and his mother was Aubreye De La Haye. He had three brothers and a sister, named Robert, Roger De, William De and Dunelme De.  He was the third oldest of the five children.  He died before 1066.  He was buried in Abbey, Preaux, Normandy, France.
