Rohese de was born about 1089 in Hedingham, Essex, England. Rohese de's father was Alberic de Vere , Sheriff of Berkshire and her mother was Beatrice. She had a brother and two sisters, named Aubrey II de, Alice de and Miss de. She was the second youngest of the four children.
