Isabel de was born about 1233 in Totnes, Devonshire, England.  Isabel de's father was Hugh de Vere , 4th Earl of Oxford and her mother was Hawise de Quincy.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Vere , 3rd Earl of Oxford, MCS and Isabel de Bolbec; her maternal grandparents were Saier IV de Quincy , 1st Earl of Winchester and Margaret de Beaumont. She had a brother and a sister, named Robert de and Laura de.  She was the oldest of the three children.  She died on August 11th, 1300 in Nutwell Manor, Woodbury, Devonshire, England.  She was buried in Church of Black, Exeter, Devonshire, England.
