Alice (Adeliza) de was born after 1163 in Hedingham Castle, Essex, England. Alice (Adeliza) de's father was Aubrey III de Vere , 1st Earl of Oxford and her mother was Agnes of Essex. She had a brother named Robert de. She was the older of the two children. She had a half-brother named Ralph Radulphus de. She died after 1214.General Notes

He [Geoffrey de Say] married, 2ndly, Alice, daughter of Aubrey (DE VERE) 1st EARL OF OXFORD, almost certainly by his 3rd wife Agnes, daughter of Henry DE ESSEX.
