Gerberge of Verdun

Gerberge of was born in 0969 in Verdun, Meuse, France.  Gerberge of's father was Godefroy Comte d'Ardennes and her mother was Mathilde Princess of Saxony.  Her maternal grandparents were Hermann Billung Duke of Saxony and Hildegarde of Westerburg. She had a sister named Bonne.  She was the younger of the two children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Arnolph II Count of, Jean, Gonzelon I Duke of, Hermann Comte and Ermentrude.
