John de Vaux 
John de was born about 1215 in Freiston, Boston, Lincolnshire, England. John de's father was Oliver Vaux , Justice Itinerant and his mother was Petronilla de Craon. His maternal grandparents were Guy de Craon and Isabella Basset. He had two brothers named Roger and William de. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers named Henry de and Henry de. He died in 1287 in Walton, Norfolk, England.General Notes
John; High Sheriff of Norfolk and Suffolk 1263-65; fought at Battle of Evesham 1265, presumably for the King against Simon de Montfort, Earl of Leicester; was granted house property in London c1265; Justice itinerant c1278; Steward of the Duchy of Aquitaine c1283; married Sibilla (died by 1261) and died c1288.
