Robert II de was born in 1247 in Ixworth & Walsham, Suffolk, England. Robert II de's father was Robert I de Valoines , Lord of Orford and his mother was Rohesia le Blount. His paternal grandparents were John de Valoines , Lord of Hickley and Isabel de Creke; his maternal grandparents were William II le Blount , 5th Lord of Ixworth and Cecilia de Vere. He had a brother named Thomas de. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 35 in 1282.General Notes
