Sibyl de was born about 1130 in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire, England. Sibyl de's father was Geoffrey de Valognes , Lord of Burton. Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Valognes and Agnes. She was an only child. She died about 1218.
