Sybil de was born in 1203 in Castle Prudhoe, Northumberland, England. Sybil de's father was Richard de Umfreville and her mother was Sybil de Torrington. Her paternal grandparents were Odinel II de Umfreville , Lord of Prudhoe and Alice de Lucy; her maternal grandfather was William III Baron de Torrington , Sir. She had a brother and a sister, named Gilbert I de and Margery de. She was the youngest of the three children. She died after 1242.-
