Alice (Adelise) de was born in 1033 in Tosni, Louviers, Eure, Normandy, France.  Alice (Adelise) de's father was Roger II "The Spaniard" Conches de Toeni and her mother was Godheut.  Her paternal grandparents were Ralph II Seigneur de Toeni , Lord of Conches and Miss Countess of Bayeux. She had two brothers and a sister, named Robert de, Ralph III de and Berthe de. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Robert de and Agnes d'.  She died at the age of 33 in 1066 in Abbey of Lire, Anjou, France.

‌Alice (Adelise) de and William were married in a religious ceremony about 1051 in Flanders, Nord, France.  They had three daughters named Adeliza, Isabel de and Emma.
