Alice Tendring 
Alice was born in 1370 in Tendering Hall, Stoke-by- Nayland, County Suffolk, England. Alice's father was William Tendring and her mother was Katherine Mylde. Her maternal grandfather was William Mylde. She had two half-brothers named William and Thomas. She died at the age of 56 on October 18th, 1426. She was buried in St. Mary the Virgin, Stoke-by-Nayland, County Suffolk.General Notes

"Funeral Monuments," Engleheart notes that although no old glass remains in the windows of Stoke-by-Nayland, Weever did
mention in his 1631 document two windows in particular. "In the east window of the south part of the church are the portraits of
Sir John Howard, Knight, and Dame Alice, his wife, daughter and heiress of Sir William Tendring, Kt."
She is mentioned several times in her mother's Codicil dated February 24, 1403.
Her will, dated October 8, 1426 states she wishes "to be buried in the church at Stoke Neyland in South aisle next to my father."
