John de Sudeley , Lord of Sudeley & Toddington 
John de was born about 1087 in Toddington, Gloucestershire, England. John de's father was Harold de Ewyas , Lord of Sudeley and his mother was Maud d' Avranches. He had a brother named Robert I FitzHarold de. He was the older of the two children. He died after 1130 in Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire, England.General Notes

Note: Ancestral Roots, in line 222, which used to have Grace as daughter of William, now states that she is of "parentage unknown" because William de Tracy had no daughter named Grace. I have her of Henry based on World Connect sources.

John, the elder son, assumed his surname from Sudeley, the chief seat which he inherited, becoming John de Sudeley. He m. Grace, dau. and heir of Henry de Traci, feudal Lord of Barnstaple, and had issue, Ralph and William. He was s. by his elder son.
