Osmund de was born about 1142 in Weston, Colville, Suffolk, England.  Osmund de's father was Robert III de Stuteville , Sheriff of Yorkshire and his mother was Hawise Helewise Murdac. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Robert IV de, William de, Patrick de, Burga de and Helwise de.  He was the third youngest of the six children.  He died before 1173 in Brandesburton, Yorkshire, England.
