Roger de Somery , Lord of Dudley, Sir 
Roger de was born on June 24th, 1255 in Dinas, Cardigan, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Roger de's mother was Amabilia de Chaucombe. He was an only child. He died at the age of 36 on October 11th, 1291 in Dudley Castle, Staffordshire, England.General Notes

ROGER DE SOMERY, 2nd but 1st surviving son and heir by 2nd wife; born 24 June 1255. On 6 April 1282 he was summoned to Worcester; on 14 March 1282/3 to Montgomery; on 28 July 1283 to Shrewsbury; and on 14 July 1287 to Gloucester. He married Agnes (d), who survived him, and died on or before 23 November 1308. He died on or before 11 October 1291. [Complete Peerage XII/1:114, (transcribed by Dave Utzinger)]
(d) She held in Sulham and Basildon, Berks, but her parentage has not been traced. On 8 Feb 1307/8 she was summoned to attend the Coronation in the train of the King and Queen.
