William Le Scrope 
William Le was born in 1325 in Masham, Yorkshire, England. William Le's father was Geoffrey Le Scrope [Sir Knight] and his mother was Ivetta (Juetta) De Ros Juetta. His paternal grandparents were William Le Scrope [Sir Knight] and Constance De Newsom; his maternal grandparents were Sir William II De Ros Roos and Eustache Fitzhugh. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Henry 1St Baron Le, Thomas Le, Geoffrey II Le, Stephen Le, Beatrice Or Beatrix, Constance and Ivetta Le. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 42 in 1367.General Notes
