David I "The Saint" King of was born about 1080 in Scotland.  David I "The Saint" King of's father was Malcolm III Canmore King of Scotland and his mother was St. Margaret Aetheling of Scotland.  His paternal grandparents were Duncan I MacCrinan King of Scotland and Sibyl Sywardsdottir , of Northumbria; his maternal grandparents were Edward "The Exile\Aetheling" Prince of England and Agatha of Hungary. He had a brother and two sisters, named Alexander I "The Fierce" King of, Matilda (Edith) Princess of and Mary Princess of.  He was the second youngest of the four children. He had two half-brothers named Duncan II Canmore King of and Heth Aethelred 1st Earl of.  He died on May 24th, 1153 in Carlisle, Cumberland, England.
