Matilda of Savoy

Matilda of was born in 1125 in Chambery, Savoie, Rhone-Alpes, France. Matilda of's father was Amadeo III Count of Savoy and her mother was Matilda d' Albon. Her paternal grandparents were Humbert II Count de Maurienne & Savoy and Gisela of Burgundy; her maternal grandparents were Guigues VI Comte d' Albon and Matilda of Sicily. She had a brother named Humbert III "Le Saint" Count of. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 32 on November 4th, 1157.
