Gilbert STAPLETON

Gilbert was born about 1238 in Of Stapleton, On Tees, Yorkshire, England. Gilbert's father was Roger STAPLETON Lord of Kirkby and his mother was Juliana De WATH. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey (Galfidus) STAPLETON and Mrs Geoffrey De STAPLETON; his maternal grandparents were Robert De WATH and Mrs-Robert De WATH. He had four brothers named Nicholas, Henry, Roger and Galfrdus. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died about 1291.
