Gwenllian verch Rhys 
Gwenllian verch was born about 1158 in Dynevor Castle, Llandilo, Carmarthenshire, Wales. Gwenllian verch's father was Rhys "Fychan" ap Gruffudd , Prince of Wales and her mother was Gwenllian verch Madog. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Rhys "Gryg" ap, Gruffudd ap, Angharad (Ankaret) verch, Catrin verch and Margred verch. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died in 1236.
‌Gwenllian verch and Ednyfed "Fychan" ap were married in a religious ceremony in 2nd wife. They had a son and a daughter, named Gronwy ap and Gwenllian verch.
