Irene Rhodocanakis 
Irene was born in 1109 in Thessalonica, Greece, Byzantine Empire. Irene's father was Andronicus Rhodocanakis and her mother was Theodora Tarchaniotes. She was an only child. She died at the age of 53 in 1162.
Irene and Andronicus were married in a religious ceremony about 1124. They had a son named John.
