Toda of was born about 0985 in Provence, France. Toda of's father was William II Count of Arles & Provence and her mother was Adélaïde Blanche d' Anjou. She had a brother and two sisters, named William III Count of Arles &, Ermengarde of and Constance Blanche d'. She was the second youngest of the four children.
