Guy II Montgomery Count of was born in 1118 in of Ponthieu, France. Guy II Montgomery Count of's father was William III Talvas , Count of Alencon & Ponthieu and his mother was Alice (Alix or Ela) of Burgundy. His paternal grandparents were Robert II de Montgomery , 3rd Earl Shrewsbury and Agnes Heiress of Montreuil & Ponthieu; his maternal grandparents were Eudes I Borel Duke of Burgundy and Matilda of Burgundy. He had a brother and two sisters, named Thurston le, Ela de and Clemence de. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 29 in 1147 in Ephesus on way to Holy Land.-
