Adele de was born in 1175 in Ponthieu, Somme, Picardy, France. Adele de's father was John (Jean) I Count of Ponthieu and her mother was Beatrice de St. Pol. Her paternal grandparents were Guy II Count of Ponthieu and Ida; her maternal grandparents were Anselme Candavaine Comte de St. Pol and Eustache de Champagne. She had a brother named William (Guillaume) III Count of. She was the older of the two children. She died at the age of 76 on November 15th, 1251.-
