Agnes Princess of was born about 1120 in Krakaow, Poland.  Agnes Princess of's father was Boleslas III "The Crooked" King of Poland and her mother was Salome Countess de Berg-Schelklingen.  Her paternal grandparents were Vladislas I King of Poland and Judith of Bohemia. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Mieszko III "The Great" King of, Kazimierez II Duke of, Richiza (Ryksa) Princess of, Judyta Princess of and Agnieszka Princess of.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Vladislas II King of.
