William Plantagenet , Count of Poitou 
William was born on July 22nd, 1136 in Argentan, Orne, France. William's father was Geoffrey V Plantagenet [COUNT OF ANJOU] and his mother was Empress of England Matilda. His paternal grandparents were Fulk V " Le Juene" (Folques V) D' ANJOU King of Jerusalem and Ermengard Du Maine Countess Of Maine; his maternal grandparents were King Henry I "Beauclerc" Of England and Queen Matilda "Atheling" Princess Of Scotland. He had four brothers named Henry II, Geoffrey VI "Mantell", Henry II Plantagenet de Anjou and Hamelin of Anjou. He was the second youngest of the five children. He had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Hamelin, Adewis, Marie Abbess of and Emma. He died in France.General Notes
