Geoffrey IV was born on August 24th, 1113 in Anjou, France.  Geoffrey IV's father was Foulques V Comte d' Anjou , King of Jerusalem and his mother was Ermengarde (Erembourg) du Maine.  His paternal grandparents were Foulques IV "Rechin" Count Of ANJOU IV and Bertrade De MONTFORT QUEEN OF FRANCE. He had a sister named Sybil d'.  He was the younger of the two children. He had a half-brother named Aumary I de Anjou King of.  He died at the age of 38 on September 7th, 1151 in Chateau, Eure-et-Loire, Normandy, France.
