Robert De was born about 1060 in Pierrepont, Neufchatel, Seine-Inferiure, Normandy, France. Robert De's father was Ingobrand De Pierrepont. He had a brother named Reginald De. He was the older of the two children. He died before 1123 in Hurst, Suffolk, England.
