William "The Elder" Peverel , of Nottingham 
William "The Elder" was born in 1050 in Normandy, France. William "The Elder"'s father was Ranulph Peverel and his mother was Maud de Ingelrica. His maternal grandfather was Ingelric of England. He had two brothers and a sister, named Pagan (Pain), Robert and Emma. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 63 on April 17th, 1113 in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England.
‌William "The Elder" and Adeline were married in a religious ceremony in 1071. They had a son and a daughter, named William "The Younger" and Adelise.
