Walter de Percy , of Wold Newton 
Walter de was born about 1114 in Whitby, North Ride Yorkshire, England. Walter de's father was Alan "The Great Alan" de Percy , Sir and his mother was Emma de Gand. He had a brother named William de. He was the younger of the two children. He died in Wold Newton, East Ride Yorkshire, England (dsp).General Notes
Walter de Percy [2nd son]; received a gift of land from his mother which he presented to Whitby Abbey; m. by 1153, as her 3rd husband, Avice Meschin, daughter of Cecily de Romelli (through whom Avice inherited Rougemont, W. Yorks) and widow of (a) William de Curcy and (b) William Paynel). [Burke's Peerage]
