Anselm Marshal IX Earl of Pembroke

Anselm Marshal IX Earl of was born in 1196.  Anselm Marshal IX Earl of's father was William Marshall Earl of Pembroke and his mother was Elizabeth De Clare Countess of Strigoil.  His paternal grandparents were John FitzGilbert Marshal and Sibyl De Salisbury; his maternal grandparents were Richard De Clare"Strongbow" Magna Charta Baron and Eva Princess of Leinster Countess of Ireland. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Marshal V Earl of, Richard Marshal VI Earl of, Gilbert Marshal VII Earl of, Walter Marshal IV Earl of, Maud, Isabel, Sibyl, Joan and Eve.  He was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
