HAMON PECCHE, 1st son by 2nd wife and eventual heir, said to have been one of the favourites of Henry I, was pardoned 28s. 7d. danegeld in Suffolk in 1130. He was with Henry II at Dover in January 1155/ 6. Sheriff of Cambs and Hunts 1163-66.
He married, between 1130 and 1135, Alice, daughter of Robert PEVEREL, and 2nd of the 4 sisters and coheirs Of William PEVEREL, of Bourn, Cambs.
