Edith D' was born about 1105 in Hook Norton, Oxfordshire, England.  Edith D''s father was Robert  De Oilly 2nd Baron Of Hook Norton and her mother was Edith Fitzforne.  Her paternal grandparents were Nigel D' Oilly [Constable Of Ox-Baron Hook Norton and Agnes; her maternal grandparents were Forne Fitzsigulf 1St Lord Of Greystoke A Thane and Alditha. She had three brothers named Henry De, Robert D' and Gilbert D'.  She was the youngest of the four children. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert "The King's Son", William De, Constance  Of and Alice Princess Of.  She died in 1165.
